Xentity is seeking a Data Solutions Architect to lead the architecture lifecycle of a cutting-edge Data Integration Services Platform. This role is pivotal in driving data use, integration, and access across a large-scale data program, aligning with strategic objectives set by the Chief Data Office (CDO).
In this role, you will act as both an Information Systems Architect and a Data Services Architect, managing the discovery, design, and development of data services that enable seamless integration and robust accessibility. You’ll collaborate closely with business units, analysts, and IT teams to capture requirements, craft innovative solutions, and ensure the successful adoption of data services through thoughtful transition planning and training.

Responsibilities:
- Information Systems Architect
- Conduct research, execute proofs of concept, and initiate projects for data integration and enablement.
- Facilitate sessions for business process modeling and capture process/data flows.
- Collaborate with data analysts to map and capture data in the CDO inventory management system.
- Plan and create recommendations for data integrations with business systems, aligning with the CDO roadmap.
- Data Services Architect
- Act as the product owner for the development of data services that enable data awareness, access, and integration, ensuring alignment with the client’s business priorities and IT policies.
- Understand, capture, and document business processes and associated data requirements prior to and during application development.
- Work closely with business units to understand their data, use cases, and user acceptance of the developed data services.
- Collaborate in an agile project team with a matrixed delivery organization consisting of client IT resources, department resources, consulting resources, and members of the Chief Data Office.
- Transition Planning
- Coordinate the creation of end-user documentation, training materials, and demonstrations as appropriate.
- Refine and execute training, including train-the-trainer initiatives, in accordance with the CDO strategy.
Technical Skills:
- Service Architecture: SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, Microservices, SOA, BPMN, Serverless, DevOps, CI/CD.
- Data Architecture: Data warehousing, ETL/ELT, Data pipelines, SQL and NoSQL Databases, Data Lakes.
- Software Experience: API Management Platforms (Apigee, MuleSoft, Swagger), ERP (SAP), CRM (Salesforce).
- Other Preferred Skills: Agile/Scrum, SQL, Scripting (Python), Programming (Java, JavaScript, Go, Closure).
- Team Tools: Jira, Trello, Rally, Google Suite, MS Office Suite, MS Project, MS Visio.
Soft Skills:
- Client Relationship: Strong interpersonal skills, understanding, empathy, and the ability to maintain relationships across diverse backgrounds.
- Goal-Driven: Sets clear, realistic goals, demonstrates initiative, and works independently to achieve results.
- Communication: Excellent communicator with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Technical Assessment: Ability to pass ad-hoc technical and whiteboard tests, including application design pattern challenges, root cause analysis, and large data visualization use case scenarios.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a similar role. Expecting 5-8 years of experience in a Data Solutions Architect role.
- Security: Must be able to pass basic NACI, background, drug, and reference checks.
