Developer Support Engineer – Premier Support

We’re a globally distributed team building a secure, standards-based identity platform used by governments, digital banks, and regulated industries. Our API-first approach enables organizations to implement OAuth 2.0 and OpenID. Our platform is trusted by governments, financial institutions, and enterprises around the world to secure APIs and protect digital identities at scale. As champions of modern identity standards, we enable developers and architects to build secure and interoperable services with ease.

We’re hiring a Developer Support Engineer to provide world-class technical support to enterprise customers integrating our platform. You’ll work closely with developers, SREs, and our internal engineering team to troubleshoot complex issues, optimize integration flows, and ensure customer success.

What You’ll Do

This is a hands-on, customer-facing technical role. You’ll:

  • Own and resolve technical support cases for enterprise customers, meeting strict SLAs.
  • Reproduce and troubleshoot issues involving our APIs, customer systems, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with our SRE and engineering teams to identify root causes and drive fixes.
  • Guide developers on OAuth 2.0, OpenID, and best practices for API security.
  • Help build case studies from complex support scenarios to inform documentation and product improvements.
  • Improve internal support flows, documentation, and tooling.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and assist with high-severity incident response when required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting developers or enterprise customers in a technical support, developer relations, or SRE-adjacent role.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, SQL, and cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred).
  • Hands-on experience debugging API integrations and analyzing system logs and payloads.
  • Familiarity with identity protocols like OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
  • Clear, empathetic communicator comfortable with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to write or read code in languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go.
  • Comfortable working independently in a distributed team across time zones.

Why Join Us

  • Work closely with engineers and customers to solve complex, real-world identity and API security problems.
  • Be part of a lean, expert team where your work has high visibility and impact.
  • Support high-profile, regulated customers in a cloud-native, standards-driven environment.
  • Competitive compensation, global flexibility, and meaningful technical challenges.
