The Regional Data Analytics Engineer helps to maintain the data platform, including the enterprise data warehouse and BI tools, which is the primary interface through which users interact with data.

Responsibilities
    • Collaborate with business users and data analysts to understand user requirements
    • Design data models to meet critical product and business needs, including reporting, data analysis, data science, and other production applications
    • Develop and automate large-scale, high-performance data warehouse pipelines
    • Monitor data warehouse usage and optimize performance and cost through data modelling best practices
    • Maintain data warehouse documentation (data catalog) in collaboration with data analysts and data engineers
    • Implement and manage data quality monitoring tools
    • Contribute to data warehousing processes and standards to enhance team productivity and output quality
    • Provide user administration, documentation, training materials, and end-user support
    • Stay updated with the latest tools and technologies in data engineering and analytics
    • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies for BI users
Requirements
    • 2–4 years of experience in Data Analytics and Data Engineering
    • Hands-on experience with: Data Modelling, SQL, Python, PySpark, Spark, Presto, Hive, Bash, Linux, Git, GCP, Airflow, and REST APIs
    • Programming experience is a plus
    • Strong competency in Analytics and Computational Modelling, Business Needs Analysis, Data Visualisation, and Stakeholder Management
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics
