What you will do
- As part of the Engineering team and reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will lead the development of scalable, APIs that expose insights from our Data Platform to applications and features across the company
- You will collaborate with Product and Application teams to understand their data needs and design interfaces that are intuitive and maintainable
- You will guide the evolution of the Data Platform model to serve use cases across domains like Vulnerability Management, Posture, and Identity
- Contribute to the long-term vision and architectural direction of the Data Platform, focusing on how data is exposed and consumed
- Champion quality, simplicity, and clarity in both data modeling and API design
- Participate in an on-call rotation to address any urgent issue.
What you will bring with you
- Experience designing and building backend APIs in distributed systems, with a focus on data-heavy or analytical use cases
- A grasp of data modeling concepts
- Solid development experience in Go or similar languages
- Broad familiarity with database systems, knowledge of graph databases such as Neo4j is a plus
- Understanding of API governance and best practices around consistency, versioning and access control
- Proficiency with standard engineering tools (CI/CD pipelines, version control, containerization)
